Description
Curtain down and spotlights dim, a country western singer takes his moment of respite in the dusty parking lot out back of the venue. He celebrates a concert well-played with his favorite cigar as the moon dances to its own tune amongst the stars over the plains. Contemporary Americana mixed media artwork combines techniques in metal sculpture, ink transfer, and acrylic paint, alongside a nod to Dolan Geiman’s storied past in textile design. The musician’s tailored suit jacket hand-crafted from a vintage metal sign rescued from the roadside, its own stories interwoven with errant musicians of days past.
