Excessive noise or vibration coming from your carts engine? Your golf cart’s snubber could be the problem., The snubber is a round rubber piece that installs on the front of the golf carts frame where the engine mounts. The snubber absorbs the lifting torque and vibration from the engine and distributes it to the rest of the cart. Over time the snubber can become brittle causing it to break or flatten resulting in ineffective dampening of the engine vibration and start up torque. It is very easy to locate and visually inspect the snubber on your cart.
