Our creative partnership with Liberty Puzzles took flight in 2025, bringing together two independent Colorado businesses with a shared passion for craft, story, and the rugged spirit of the American West. Based in Boulder, Liberty Puzzles has long set the gold standard for wooden jigsaw puzzles. By aligning Dolan Geiman’s intricate, layered paper collage aesthetics with Liberty’s iconic laser-cut construction, we’ve created an artful puzzle experience that celebrates our shared heritage in the Rocky Mountain state.
The collection debuted last year with the release of Distracted, a puzzle featuring one of Dolan’s signature wildlife-themed collages. Liberty’s unique approach—specifically their use of “whimsy pieces” (custom-shaped cuts that reflect the theme of the art)—perfectly complements the storytelling nature of the original collage work.
As we move into 2026 and beyond, we are excited to build on the success of this collaboration. We remain deeply committed to supporting local, independent manufacturing and look forward to expanding our collection with new puzzle designs currently in development.
