Quarter Master offers floater plates to fit 7.25 in., 2- or 3-disc V-Drive or Pro Series clutches. During inspection, racers and builders examine the friction discs, but often overlook the importance of the pressure plate and floater plates contained within the housing. While these parts don’t suffer as high a wear rate as the friction disc, they are still susceptible to wear. Reliability is paramount in motorsports, and without full attention to all of the clutch components within the unit, chances are you could become sidelined prematurely. Don’t let that happen. To avoid clutch failures, be sure to replace all worn components with brand new ones from Quarter Master.
