Snaps and zippers on awnings, straps, and other items suffer the corroding effects of rain, dirt, and grime. A simple alternative to fighting with snaps or zippers is a quick dap of water-resistant Snap-Stick lubricant, which comes in a handy tube similar to Chapstick. Apply to hinges, snaps and zippers. Apply to one side, close or zip to apply to the other side, and your closing mechanisms will be saved from corrosion for up to three months.
